Singing Teacher
Beginners and Kids
I was born and raised in London. I studied Music at Durham University in the UK, specializing in classical history and composition, and later took a masters in Musicology at the University of Amsterdam, where my main focus was jazz. Most recently I studied jazz theory and voice at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have been performing as a vocalist since I was young in a range of styles and contexts such as choirs, ensembles, solo projects. Whilst my specialism (and passion) is jazz, I have experience in classical singing and popular styles. I have worked as a backing vocalist and session musician for some established UK-pop artists and am a published songwriter. Currently I sing with the Seven Steps Big Band and some smaller jazz ensembles. I've been teaching singing for almost ten years; first in England, then France, and now the Netherlands - and it brings me joy!
